Pegasus, a work in progress.  I’m not convinced this is a viable rug. I would appreciate your feedback or comments or constructive criticism. The swatches of color in the background are strips of Saree silk–a new toy to play with and lots of fun.

“Bert” my new “pet”

 This is my new “neighbor/pet” who resides outside my back window. Yes, resides. I watched him one day, stunned to see him just lay down. He was 4 feet from my window. Lots of critters to enjoy out here–An owl who visits me nightly, whoo–ing away; hummingbirds — let’s not go there, oh well, Mr. Ruby chases every other bird away, thinking he owns the feeder. So I bought another feeder to hang at the back of my house–one in front, one in back. He can’t be both places at once, but he sure tries. Now Mrs. Ruby has a fighting change though.  Wild turkeys parade through from time to time, usually on Sunday for their stroll. They are HUGE out here, and I think quite beautiful (but relax, no rug here).  I hear coyotes but haven’t seen one yet.  And here’s ONE animal I don’t miss–mosquitoes!!
