Minnesota winter

I guessmy friends in Minnesota are a bit tired of the snow.  Perhaps this could be an inspiration for  a rug?!?!?  What do ya think?  I know, I like snowmen too, but, let’s face it, they have had a long, long winter.

Maybe, “it’s melting, it’s melting!”

or  “Fallen angels/snowmen”?

I’ve been wanting to do women in a kitchen setting but when I tried stoves and refrigerators and 5 women (back to the sisters), I couldn’t make it work. So I resorted to a little dance around the kitchen (do Canadians do the Conga?)  And I wanted it to have a retro look. In a perfect world the background would have been that tell-tale 50s aqua and green.  This measures 26 x 36″ — and yes, Loretta, I hooked it myself.  🙂
