This pile of precious items were left to me by a dear friend a couple of years ago. I wanted to use some of them in a unique way and so that I could remember her often. So the following photos show the knitting needle case I made. It’s a simple fabric design and is a tri-fold that opens to display my knitting needle–as you can see in the last photo. Later I’ll show you the roll-up wraps I made for hooking tools.

This is the outside of the wool, fabric, buttons, beads, and bling front of the needle pouch–it measures about 14″ x 6″ folded shut. I used my friend’s old broaches and other “jewels” to embellish the design. I love seeing it every day.
